After Emily Hobhouse (1860-1926), suffragette, author, and philanthropist, who came to South Africa to help in the concentration camps erected by the British in the Second Anglo-Boer War. She brought the public's attention to
the atrocities in the camps.

Passing of a member Martin Fine
Today we advise fellow Tourists Guides of the passing of our dear colleague, Martin Fine. He suffered a stroke as a result of a blood clot and unfortunately was not able to recover. Condolences to his wife and family.
