Following on our immensely successful Book Fair at The View, the Johannesburg Heritage Foundation has partnered with James Findlay of Jellyfish Tree and the Rand Club to bring you the Africana Faire at the Rand Club.
Top Johannesburg dealers in rare books, maps, medals and other ephemera will be represented, and will be displaying their offering in the grand surroundings of the Rand Club. In addition to this, visitors will be able to:
- Enjoy live jazz performed by Tony Bentell and Selwyn Klass;
- Attend talks on Africana;
- Tour the historic Club and learn about its fascinating history (at a cost of R150 per person, and to be booked through the Rand Club); and
- Enjoy lunch at the Club (to be booked through the Rand Club).
The Johannesburg Heritage Foundation will be selling books, and welcomes your donations!
COST : Entrance to the Faire is FREE, the tour and lunch can be booked
through the Rand Club
