Notice of IPTGSA Annual General Meeting

IPTGSA

Good day Members

With the rain falling and everything turning green and the hope that our industry will also be changing for a better and greener future.

This email serves as notification of the Institute of Professional Tourist Guides of Southern Africa (IPTGSA) Annual General Meeting to be held on Thursday 21 January 2021 (venue TBC).

As covid-19 and the lockdown have changed many lives the need to change in our industry is also very large and we all have learned to operate and sustain ourselves in different ways by adapting to protocol never heard of.

The future of tourism is changing but once countries are safe again travel will be operational again, the question, when? , This is something nobody knows and many speculations have been made.

The tourism industry is made up of clients that cannot be stationary and have an inclination to travel, with this, said, people, will come back to our shores as South Africa has very specific offerings.
